Music for a Great Space annually presents a culturally diverse series of inspiring small ensemble and solo concerts. Founded in 1990, the series features world-class artists in significant venues in Greensboro for audiences from across the Piedmont Triad. MGS accompanies each concert with related educational experiences for children and adults.
Danielle Talamantes and I look forward to kicking off our Fall Liederabend tour in Greensboro, NC. By our side will be collaborative pianist, Arlene Shrut. This program invites audiences into the intimate and expressive world of German art song where poetry and music come together to illuminate the joys, sorrows, passions, and mysteries of the human experience. Featuring masterworks by Brahms, Felx & Fanny Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, and Wagner, this program features one of classical music’s richest and most beloved traditions.
